Our Lenham Team


Harriet Thorneloe qualified as a solicitor in 2005 and worked in Petersfield, Hampshire before joining Thorneloe & Co in 2007. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.  She is a trustee of the Honywood and Douglas Almshouses in Lenham and of the Pilgrim Multi Academy Trust.  She lives locally and has two children.


Benedict Hughes qualified as a solicitor in 1987 and has specialised in Property work, both residential and commercial, ever since. After training with firms in the West End and the City, he joined his brother and father in the family firm in Streatham, South London, following in the footsteps of his grandfather.  The practice grew and successfully moved to a larger premises before ultimately merging with a larger local firm in 2012.  Two years later Benedict decided to improve the quality of his life by joining a local practice closer to home, and spared himself three hours a day driving.

Married with four children, Benedict lives in Kent.  A regular and enthusiastic golfer, he also enjoys the company of his family and the occasional visit to see Crystal Palace play.

Conveyancing Executive:

Kelly-Ann Fransz studied Law at London Metropolitan University and worked at a number of City law firms specialising in Intellectual Property before joining Thorneloe & Co. in 2014. She graduated from CILEx Law School in 2017 and is due to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive later this year.

She specialises in Residential and Commercial Conveyancing.

Kelly-Ann enjoys spending time with family, singing, cooking, running and cycling.


Michael Thorneloe qualified as a solicitor in 1974 having been articled first to a firm in Central London and then to his father’s firm in South London.  On qualifying he joined a firm in Sittingbourne Kent where he soon became a Partner and where he stayed for seventeen years.  He started Thorneloe & Co in 1989. Michael Thorneloe is married with three grown-up children and lives locally.
